Guides

Japan does not operate like many other countries where general aviation is centered around flight schools or FBOs. Instead, the system relies heavily on flight clubs. Finding these clubs can be challenging as information is often limited and transparency is not always great, which makes it difficult for newcomers to know where to start... well, here's how you can get started!

1. Search for a flight club

Browse through our list of flight clubs and choose one that is geographically convenient for you.

2. Contact the flight club

The most reliable way to contact them is by phone, email, or through their website's contact form if available. Many flight clubs intentionally limit the information they share online, and some prefer not to publish full membership details publicly. To get accurate information about membership requirements, fees, and procedures, it is best to reach out to them directly. Happy clubbing! 🕺
